..so the only thing I can tell you about ‘used to’ and/vs ‘would’ in order to express past habits is: JUST PRACTICE, hehe.

Well, I did explain the usage in class, i.e. when we can use ‘would’ and ‘used to’, etc. So tell me, can I say:

  1. “We would be very tired after school”?
  2. “I would have a blue budgie called ‘Azulito'”?
  3. “My father would pick me up at school”?

And now, related to sports, can anyone guess the meaning of ‘resolutionary’ (urban English)?

Funny or politically incorrect guesses are accepted.

Which sport do you do?

(Back from break and still ill…Nice timing)

Which sport do you do? A very common question in conversations. So when do we use ‘do’, ‘play’ or ‘go’ when we talk about sports? Check it out here.

And more practice here.

If you want to know more on sports, read/watch all these posts here. Some of them are easy, some others aren’t.

And now, tell me: Can you think of a sport which is particular to your country (Spain or other) but not played in many other places? Would you mind sharing it with us here?
